Return to Blogging + Preview of a Hever Castle Wedding
I think it’s time to break the silence and image drought. It’s been a long long time since I’ve posted anything on the blog. Or even on social media for that matter. Writing feels a bit alien right now.
The last 2.5 years have been extremely difficult on the personal front. The hardest being the passing of my father at the end of 2013. So I decided to focus all my energy on health, family and of course our clients. Everything else had to take a back seat for a little while. Things seem to be getting better this year so thought I’d make a conscious effort to ease myself back into blogging.
Some of you may have been aware that my blog wasn’t even online since the start of 2014. But as you can see, we now have a new website and blog and all is back up and running.
We’re going to kick-start with a preview of last Sundays muslim wedding reception at the beautiful Hever Castle in Kent. There’s a story to tell regarding the challenges we faced on the day. But I’ll have to tell you all about that in the main post. Hint; it involves a Profoto umbrella, crutches, a lake and two rescue boats! All will be revealed soon.
Luckily, we were blessed with a wonderful couple, extremely accommodating venue staff, hard working assistant and other vendors. Even the general public got involved. Everyone was so helpful on the day. Thank you to all of you if you’re reading this. Things would’ve been a lot more difficult if it wasn’t for you.
Anyway, I promised myself I’ll keep this brief, so enjoy the preview images. We’d love your feedback, so do leave a comment below. And look out for the full post.
p.s. I won’t really be logging onto the social networks as much as I used to, so messages sent via Facebook etc may not be seen straight away. If you’d like to get in touch, you’re guaranteed a faster response if you call us, email directly or use the contact form on the site.
