When Punit first contacted us, he already knew who he wanted as his wedding photographer. And where he wanted to take his pre-wedding photos. They wanted to do it at The Hill Garden and Pergola in Hampstead Heath. Once we met up with them both, I was honoured to hear that he’d been a silent follower of my work for several years. Now he wanted Puja to see why he wanted to book me. I’m glad to say that she agreed with him. :-)
I immediately asked them how keen they were about shooting in Hampstead Heath. That particular area is a very common location for couple shots. I asked because I try to stay away from places that are over-used. We prefer to give couples something different.
But as they were so keen, I made it my mission to get shots that are as different as possible from most images out there. If you know me, I tend to take some risks for my art (to realise my vision). For one shot, I scared my wife half to death. I was balancing over a concrete bannister with only my left foot holding my full weight. There was at least 35-foot drop on one side if I slipped! I made it back alive…lol…with an image that we’re all very happy with.
Puja & Punit’s wedding photos will be up soon. For now, enjoy some of my favourite images from their pre-wedding shoot.

Sublime photos. Great work
Wonderfully atmospheric photos
The photos are beautiful. I love the one showing the structure from far away – it’s like a painting.
First-class photography … and a very unique style.
A special touch for a special day…
I love your work. Truly inspirational!
Thank you, Amira! :)
