Back in April while we were abroad, Jasmine contacted us to cover her Muslim wedding at Baylis House, Slough. The wedding was taking place in June! We told her that we won’t be able to see her until we return in May. As it was so close to their wedding day we thought she would’ve booked someone else by the time we got back. But it was a pleasant surprise to receive a call from Jasmine the day after we landed. We quickly booked an appointment with her the next day to go over the details, and the rest, as they say, is history. We’re always honoured when a couple choose us to be part of their special day, but it meant even more to us because she waited for our return.
On the wedding day, it was quite possibly the most relaxed Muslim wedding we’ve covered so far. Not everything went according to plan, but surprisingly there was no chaos. And at the end of the day it was a very emotional farewell that almost had me in tears.
Here are a few preview images from the day.
Oh, and a huge thanks to Shahed for travelling all the way from Newcastle to assist us on the day. We admire his dedication and fun-loving personality. Shahed is the ugly mug in the last picture by the way..
