A collection of smoke photos.

All photos of smoke taken with a Nikon D300, Nikon SB900 Speedlight (remote), Incense, black background, and lots of patience. All shots were taken manually without the use of a tripod.

Inspiring! Any suggestions about how to create enough smoke for a full figure portrait? (Small indoor studio.)

@ Julie, for that I think you’ll need a smoke machine. I can’t think of anything else that would produce that much smoke in a safe manner. You don’t want to be lighting a bonfire indoors now do you? lol..
