Urvashi & Vinai – Indian Wedding in Leicester.

I always feel proud when a fellow photographer books us to document an event. Urvashi & Vinai are wedding photographers themselves who came all the way from Leicester to London for the initial consultation. We felt honoured when we got the call the following day confirming that they wanted us to cover their wedding. The pressure was on from this point.

Normally we expect the bride to be a bit stressed on the day of the wedding. But not Urvashi! She was probably the most calm and chilled out bride we’ve ever had the privilege of working with. It was like she didn’t have a care in the world. Even when one of her aunts came towards her with a pair of pliers, she didn’t seem phased. It was her day after all, and she wasn’t letting anything spoil it!

And in case you’re wondering, the very excited looking squirrel was watching us during the couple shoot at the end of the wedding. It seemed so curious to know whats going on while we I was taking the shot above it. Normally they run off when you turn towards them, but this one just stared back. I just had to capture it. I think it even posed for me. What do you think?
